University of Haifa - Customer Case Study

The University of Haifa, a research university with 18,000 students and over 5,000 staff, faced a digital transformation that increased its exposure to novel cyber threats while updating its infrastructure. Seeking a holistic, preventive approach for endpoint protection rather than more layered point solutions, the university selected Nyotron’s PARANOID platform (implemented via partner Intensity) to protect endpoints against unknown and state-level attacks.

Nyotron delivered its OS‑centric PARANOID solution together with Intensity’s value‑added services—server protection and a daily “War Room” for real‑time monitoring, intel and recommendations. The deployment stopped previously unknown threats in real time, repelled sophisticated Iranian‑sourced intrusions that evaded traditional anti‑malware, and now provides a last line of defense across desktops, laptops and servers while integrating with existing AV tools.
