PIASC - Customer Case Study

Printing Industries Association, Inc. of Southern California (PIASC), which administers benefits for over 1,000 member companies and 21,000 employees and dependents and must protect PHI/PII under HIPAA, faced rising ransomware and malware risk as well as poor endpoint performance—managing as many as five disparate security products with boot times up to eight minutes. To adopt a proactive last line of defense, PIASC implemented Nyotron’s PARANOID solution.

Nyotron deployed its cloud-based PARANOID (OS-Centric Positive Security) within days, reducing PIASC’s endpoint footprint from roughly five tools to PARANOID plus one antivirus, significantly improving boot times and system performance and shifting upgrades and maintenance to Nyotron’s service. The vendor’s threat-agnostic approach neutralizes ransomware, evasive malware and zero-day attacks, relieved IT staff burden, and strengthened protection of PHI/PII to support HIPAA compliance.
