Fountain, an all-in-one ATS and hiring platform, needed a contextual scheduling feature that showed Fountain appointments alongside users’ personal and work calendars while supporting many calendar providers and moving quickly to serve enterprise clients. They partnered with Nylas and used the Nylas Calendar API to achieve cross‑platform calendar interoperability.

By building on Nylas, Fountain delivered a universal calendar sync in one internal hackathon with one engineer and completed the integration in under two days, connecting to hundreds of calendar APIs and avoiding three separate integrations. The Nylas-powered solution reduced feature requests, decreased the time users spend viewing and managing appointments, and accelerated Fountain’s time-to-market while enabling scale from startups to Fortune 500 customers.
