Cummins Inc., a global manufacturer of engines and power generation products, faced challenges in efficiently managing the introduction and lifecycle of custom filtration products. They needed a system to onboard these products with specific business checks, create internal void products, and automate workflow tasks to update product data. To address this, Cummins partnered with Nvizion Solutions to leverage the Informatica MDM Product 360 (P360) platform.

Nvizion Solutions designed and implemented a tailored onboarding process for filtration products within P360, utilizing ActiveVOS and Business Process Management to automate workflows. This solution automated Engineering Change Order processes, assigned tasks to teams, and enabled automatic field updates. The results included a significant reduction in manual effort and cycle time for bringing products to market, established robust data governance with quality checks, and provided business leaders with clear visibility into ECO status and team accountability.
