To address this, they partnered with vendor NVIDIA Run:ai to build an AI-powered platform using NVIDIA NIM and NVIDIA Jetson products.

The solution implemented by NVIDIA involved deploying the CMES-AI platform powered by NVIDIA NIM inference microservices and compact NVIDIA Jetson Nano computers inside clinics. This resulted in query response times dropping from 5 minutes to just 2 seconds and a 22x increase in token processing speed. The platform now supports over 17,000 healthcare workers across 19 countries, improving care for an estimated 20 million people each year.
