Its outdated internal system could no longer keep up with the demand for fast, controlled access to builds throughout the development cycle, so EA turned to Nuxeo and its content management platform.
Nuxeo helped EA launch the Shift application in just seven months instead of an estimated 12–13 months, cutting deployment time by nearly 50%. The solution delivered fine-grained security, automated workflows, audit tracking, and scalable build access for 600 to 800 daily users, while also supporting a second Nuxeo-powered archive app, Vintage, for preserving finished game titles.
