The fashion brand Kings and Priests sought to pioneer agentic commerce, where AI agents make purchases. Their challenge was to enable an AI agent to complete a payment seamlessly on the merchant's own platform without redirects, while ensuring the transaction would be authorized by issuer banks across Europe, which had no precedent for approving AI-agent-driven payments.

Nuvei implemented its Nuvei Agentic platform as the neutral payment execution layer for the pilot. The solution processed a live transaction where an AI agent purchased and paid without leaving the conversation, running on the merchant's site and settling on Visa rails. This successful pilot proved the end-to-end viability, with Nuvei building a protocol compatibility layer and "Know Your Agent" governance to ensure consumer authorization and audibility for this new commerce channel.
