FC Bayern München, one of the world’s most successful football clubs, wanted to modernize its long-running magazine by turning it into a digital product. After rebranding “Bayern-Magazin” into “51” and expanding it to a larger format, the club needed a simple way to deliver the magazine in apps with PDF viewing, search, offline access, and DRM protection. FC Bayern München chose Nutrient for its iOS, Android, and Web apps to support this shift.
With Nutrient, FC Bayern München was able to quickly and seamlessly convert each issue into a digital format and publish it with minimal extra effort. The result was a fan-friendly eMagazine app that lets users read on desktop, tablet, or mobile, access back issues, and receive push notifications for new releases. Nutrient helped FC Bayern München add the online magazine without disrupting its workflow.
