Dalvkot Utility Enterprises, the IT service provider for Vydehi Hospital Group, faced challenges with the hospital's legacy infrastructure, which was too complex to maintain and could not deliver the performance needed for quick access to patient data. By deploying the Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure with the AHV hypervisor, Dalvkot migrated Vydehi's critical Health Information Management System (HIMS). This resulted in dramatically faster data access, with HIMS request response times reduced from 3,420 ms to 5.5 ms, and increased reliability with uptime now over 99%. The Nutanix solution also halved the IT footprint and reduced energy consumption by 60%, while simplifying management so that a team of two can now manage the infrastructure that previously required ten people.
