Valmet, the global developer and supplier of process technologies for the pulp, paper, and energy industries, needed to replace aging hardware and remove scaling bottlenecks in its shared engineering and Citrix VDI environment. Nutanix implemented a 21-node HCI cluster using Nutanix HCI, Nutanix Files, and Nutanix Prism Central, with ongoing management support from Sofor. The result was a high-availability, redundant engineering platform that improved performance, simplified management, and enabled non-disruptive capacity expansion, helping Valmet boost productivity and maximize resource utilization.
