US Signal, a national digital infrastructure provider, faced the challenge of meeting growing customer demands for scalable, secure cloud and managed services while preparing its infrastructure for next-generation technologies like AI. To support this growth and innovation, particularly after acquiring OneNeck IT Solutions, US Signal partnered with vendor Nutanix and leveraged the Nutanix Cloud Platform to build a future-ready foundation.
The solution implemented with Nutanix involved offering a broad range of managed services, including ReliaCloud, Disaster Recovery, and Storage-as-a-Service. This Nutanix-powered infrastructure enabled a key customer, a major industrial equipment manufacturer, to support over 315 AutoCAD VDI users and achieve aggressive recovery objectives of a one-hour RPO and a four-hour RTO. The results included supporting rapid customer growth through acquisitions and providing the ability to predict and scale capacity needs efficiently.
