UK Healthcare Professionals Get Back To Work With Nutanix

Medway Community Healthcare (MCH) needed to replace a legacy IT environment that was slow, unreliable, and unable to support flexible working for more than 1,400 employees. Working with Nutanix partner BDR Group, MCH chose a Nutanix hybrid cloud platform with Citrix Workspace to improve performance, availability, and remote access for clinicians and staff.

Nutanix implemented a highly available hybrid IT infrastructure using Nutanix AHV, Prism, Nutanix Files, and Nutanix Flow, delivered as a managed service by BDR Group. The new environment was migrated in just 10 days, doubled planned remote/mobile users from day one of the COVID-19 lockdown, delivered 1,200 remote desktops, and has had no recorded downtime since deployment, giving MCH a scalable platform for future NHS initiatives.
