TOKAI Communications Significantly Reduces Operational Workload Building Highly Scalable Platform with Nutanix

TOKAI Communications, a telecommunications and data center services provider, needed to replace a previous private cloud platform that suffered from weak support, limited features, long lead times, and costly 3-tier operations. The company turned to Nutanix Enterprise Cloud OS, including Nutanix AOS, Nutanix AHV, and Nutanix Prism, to build a more scalable and maintainable environment for its Pracla Hosted Private Cloud service.

With Nutanix, TOKAI Communications reduced environment setup effort by about half, cut administrator workload while running services with minimal staff, and eliminated outages during version updates. The new platform delivered about 3x faster IOPS, improved snapshots and data integrity, and sharply reduced customer support inquiries thanks to Prism, while also enabling smoother migrations and better service quality.
