TIS Standardizes on Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Platform

TIS Inc., a Japanese systems integrator, needed a more scalable, lower‑overhead platform to support its new TEOS cloud services and a Hosted Private Service (HPS) for PCI DSS‑regulated customers. The company found its traditional three‑tier architecture (servers, SAN, storage) created excessive operational complexity, long delivery cycles, and high training and engineer costs.

TIS standardized on the Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Platform (with VMware ESXi), deploying a Nutanix‑based HPS in under two months that met PCI DSS requirements and delivered stable, easily scalable infrastructure. The change cut system‑design time from almost three months to under one, enabled an expected ~3:1 reduction in manpower costs and two‑thirds lower education expenses, improved support and time‑to‑market, and created a foundation for expanded IaaS services and retail payment solutions.
