COGEP is a fast-growing multidisciplinary consulting, auditing and accounting firm — the 10th largest in France with 110 offices and growth from 250 employees in 2004 to 1,600 in 2020. Rapid external growth and a decentralized IT estate pushed its legacy virtualized storage to saturation and created an urgent need for a flexible, easily scalable infrastructure that could centralize services and integrate acquisitions while supporting the firm’s Hyper‑V environment.

COGEP selected Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure (AOS/Prism), deploying initial three‑node clusters in active/active mode, later expanding and reconfiguring to larger production clusters and moving hosting to Equinix to simplify disaster recovery. The migration grew from 50 to about 150 VMs, delivered easier administration, stronger resilience and highly responsive support, and the firm continues to renew Nutanix as it plans further hypervisor consolidation to simplify operations and reduce costs.
