Case Study: Export-Import Bank of Korea achieves scalable, secure log management and improved VDI with Nutanix

A Nutanix Case Study

Preview of the Export-Import Bank of Korea Case Study

The Export-Import Bank of Korea Improves Data Security with Next-Generation Infrastructure

The Export‑Import Bank of Korea (Korea Eximbank), a government-backed finance and export credit agency, faced scaling and performance challenges as log volumes grew and its legacy infrastructure strained Splunk-based security and analysis tools. The bank also needed to meet strict regulatory and security requirements while enabling reliable remote work for overseas and home-based staff.

Korea Eximbank moved to Nutanix HCI (with Nutanix Files and Volumes), deploying a hybrid SSD/HDD configuration and a usable capacity of 20+ TB to enable non-disruptive scale‑out, single‑pane management via Prism, and improved Splunk and VDI performance. The result: faster time to detect and resolve issues, smoother log collection and analysis, simplified administration, enhanced operational efficiency, and a secure, stable remote‑working environment for about 200 users.
