Taiju Life Insurance achieves secure VDI scale-out in one year with Nutanix

Taiju Life Insurance Company Limited, a Japanese life insurance company, faced the challenge of securely separating its internet and internal systems within a short timeframe to comply with financial regulations. They also needed a platform that could avoid over-engineering and scale flexibly for their Citrix VDI environment for thousands of users. To meet these needs, they selected the Nutanix Enterprise Cloud OS platform, which includes AOS, AHV virtualization, and Prism management.

By implementing Nutanix, Taiju Life Insurance constructed the entire secure VDI environment in about one year, a timeframe estimated to be two to three months faster than a traditional 3-tier configuration would have allowed. Nutanix resulted in faster web browser boot-up times, centralized one-click management for operations like updates, and a reduction in training costs. The company also built a stable platform that allows for flexible future scaling and plans to use Nutanix for additional applications like an internal cloud.
