Taekwang Group's Heungkuk Finance ensures outstanding customer experience with critical systems available 24/7

Taekwang Group’s Heungkuk Finance, supported by shared IT provider TSIS, needed to ensure uninterrupted digital services for customer-facing insurance, securities and asset-management platforms. With aging x86 servers and regulatory limits on public cloud use, TSIS faced the challenge of delivering highly available, scalable infrastructure for omnichannel web platforms, middleware, SAP HANA and collaboration tools to avoid downtime and financial losses.

TSIS implemented a Nutanix Cloud Platform on Lenovo ThinkAgile HX appliances with the Nutanix AHV hypervisor, shifting to hyperconverged infrastructure for a cloud-like, virtualized environment. The solution delivered linear performance gains as nodes were added, enabled scale-ups in about 10 minutes, ensured 24/7 availability, reduced datacenter footprint by 70% and cut operational costs while supporting key applications across the Taekwang Group.
