Swiss Laboratory Scopes Out a Bright Future with Nutanix

Viollier AG, the Swiss healthcare laboratory, was running into scalability and hypervisor dependency issues as rising demand pushed its aging IT infrastructure to the limit. The company needed a more flexible platform to support growth and future DevOps, container, and Kubernetes plans, and turned to Nutanix Enterprise Cloud with AHV and Calm to make that happen.

Nutanix implemented hyperconverged infrastructure across Viollier’s data centers, added disaster recovery resilience, and enabled rapid automation of SAP and other workloads. The results included migrating more than 200 VMs, moving 38 SAP VMs ahead of schedule, and cutting some SAP processing times by more than half, while also giving Viollier the foundation for faster DevOps and Kubernetes adoption.
