Songklanagarind Hospital, a healthcare and medical education center in Thailand, needed a better storage and server solution to support its VDI environment and make its Hospital Information System (HIS) accessible anytime, anywhere for physicians. Working with Nutanix, the hospital aimed to modernize access to its intranet portal while managing a limited IT budget and supporting a growing user base.

Nutanix implemented the Nutanix Virtual Computing Platform (NX3450), enabling fast infrastructure deployment and reliable remote access to HIS on mobile and BYOD devices. As a result, Songklanagarind Hospital provided easy access for more than 200 physicians with plans to scale to 1,500, launched BYOD without disruptions, deployed infrastructure in less than an hour, and reduced IT spending while improving productivity.
