SKY Perfect JSAT Adopts Nutanix Enterprise Cloud for Satellite Control System

SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation, Asia’s largest satellite operator, needed a more scalable and resilient infrastructure to support satellite control and other mission-critical systems as its fleet grew and its IT equipment lifecycles lagged behind long-life satellites. The company turned to Nutanix, using Nutanix NX Series and Nutanix Enterprise Cloud to simplify virtualization, improve availability, and better manage backup and recovery.

With Nutanix, SKY Perfect JSAT gained easy node-based scaling, stronger redundancy, and more stable operations across distributed nodes, while reducing the burden of storage management and server maintenance. Nutanix also helped cut power consumption, remove more than 10 racks, and shrink the data footprint by approximately 50%, enabling faster deployment and the launch of a satellite operation service.
