Shaker Regional School District, which serves 1,350 students and staff across five K–12 schools, faced an aging seven-year‑old SAN and server environment that was time-consuming to manage and prone to slowdowns and outages. The small IT team spent excessive time troubleshooting, moving virtual servers, and was unable to deliver new services to teachers and students in a timely manner.

The district replaced its legacy stack with three Nutanix NX‑3360 systems and two Brocade VDX 6740 switches running Brocade VCS Fabric, migrating 40 VMs in a single day.
