Servus Credit Union Executes Enterprise-wide Infrastructure Modernization Project Using Nutanix Software and HPE DX Servers

Servus Credit Union, one of Canada’s largest credit unions, needed to modernize its aging enterprise infrastructure and improve the speed and consistency of core banking operations. Using Nutanix software with HPE DX servers, the organization also wanted to simplify infrastructure management, strengthen DevOps practices, and reduce the cost and complexity of refreshing its 3-tier systems.

Nutanix implemented a hybrid cloud platform with Nutanix Calm, Azure DevOps, and Octopus to automate environment provisioning and application deployment. The results were significant: test environments now deploy in about 15 minutes instead of three weeks, overnight processing gained over 20 hours of processing time per day, and disaster recovery failover dropped from days to just 10–25 minutes. Servus Credit Union also moved to monthly, daily, or weekly releases, improved application quality and security, lowered capital expense, and built a more reliable IT foundation with Nutanix.
