SEIC-Télédis profits from more reliability, ease of management and simplicity of use, thanks to Nutanix

SEIC-Télédis, a Swiss energy and utilities group of about 300 employees, needed a more reliable, easy-to-manage server platform to support its core services and reduce the time and risk associated with update management and VDI operations. Coming from a legacy VMware environment, the IT team sought consistency, performance and simpler day-to-day administration.

After a successful PoC they deployed two Nutanix clusters running AHV, migrated servers from ESXi, and began replacing their VDI client with Nutanix Frame. The move delivered greater reliability, simplicity and easier management—updates can now be applied during the day with no downtime, VDI/VSI management time has fallen, and the organization plans to expand use of Nutanix Flow, Files and multi-cloud tools.
