Secretaria de Educación Guanajuato enhances performance and saves with Nutanix

The Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), operator of the world’s largest transshipment and bunkering hub, needed to modernize a business‑critical Just‑in‑Time (JIT) planning and vessel clearance application as part of its digital transformation and Green Initiative. MPA’s goals were to streamline a complex three‑tier infrastructure, enable more flexible mobile access for staff and port users, reduce port stays (and associated emissions), and improve recovery time objectives to minimise operational disruption.

MPA migrated the JIT Platform to a Nutanix hyper‑converged private cloud (AOS, AHV, Files, Intelligent Operations and Disaster Recovery), consolidating hardware and automating administration. The move simplified management so a single admin can scale compute, storage and networking, enabled secure mobile access, improved recovery times, and reduced the infrastructure footprint — boosting operational sustainability while freeing IT resources to modernise other systems.
