A Nutanix Case Study
Saudi German Health, a leading healthcare provider across the MENA region, was struggling with a complex legacy IT environment made up of decentralized clusters, multiple vendors, and difficult VM migration and backup processes. The company needed a more reliable, scalable platform to support mission-critical systems like its Hospital Information System, Oracle, Exchange, and disaster recovery workloads, and it chose Nutanix HCI and Nutanix Prism Pro to address these challenges.
Nutanix implemented five clusters across five locations in under five days with no downtime, centralizing management and simplifying operations. The result was a 4X improvement in backup performance, backup windows cut from four hours to under an hour, IT management time reduced to about 10 minutes a day, and hardware spending lowered by 40%, allowing Saudi German Health to reinvest savings into digital services such as remote diagnosis, mobile access, and VDI.
