A Nutanix Case Study
ADD is one of Belgium’s largest insurance and risk-management firms, part of the KBC banking group, with about 100 specialized employees across two offices. The company relied on a traditional three-layer server/storage/network architecture that demanded time-consuming, costly upgrades and complex maintenance, forced after-hours work to avoid downtime, and strained a small IT team managing many varied applications under strict security requirements.
ADD deployed the Nutanix Virtual Computing Platform (NX‑3000 Series), which was installed in hours and migrated in half a day with no service disruption. The new hyperconverged platform simplified management with a single GUI, delivered near-instant support responses, and consolidated servers, desktops and services onto Nutanix. As a result ADD eliminated downtime for upgrades, accelerated projects (VDI finished in 14 days and other rollouts moved forward by months), reduced operational overhead and improved overall IT agility.
