Pramata, a California-based technology company, needed a better way to optimize its growing AWS cloud environment and improve security posture as its internal and customer-facing systems became more complex. Its existing optimization tool wasn’t delivering enough savings or real-time threat detection, making manual management too difficult and resource-intensive. Nutanix’s Xi Beam was used to address this challenge.

With Nutanix Xi Beam, Pramata quickly deployed and configured automated cloud optimization and security alerts, tuning actions by workload on weekly or monthly cycles. The result was an additional 15% to 25% reduction in cloud costs, about 80% less potential management effort, and proactive visibility into risks and policy violations—while requiring only two staff instead of a much larger optimization team.
