A Nutanix Case Study
The Pennsylvania House of Representatives Democratic Caucus, which supports 93 legislators and serves roughly 12 million citizens, depended on an in-house constituent service tracking application but struggled with slow, manual management of disparate legacy infrastructure. Degraded application performance, a need for disaster recovery and enterprise file services, and thinly stretched IT staff threatened timely responses to constituent needs.
The caucus standardized on the Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Platform (Acropolis/AHV and Prism), quickly migrating VMware and Hyper‑V workloads to a unified hyperconverged environment. The move delivered faster, more dependable application performance, consolidated administration into a single management plane, reduced service issues and outages, and freed IT to focus on constituent services while enabling future expansion into Nutanix Files, Volumes and cloud-based disaster recovery.
