Case Study: PBS Building reduces project risk and ensures uninterrupted operations with Nutanix

A Nutanix Case Study

PBS Building Cements Success with Nutanix

PBS Building is a leading Australian construction and project management firm (roughly $250M turnover) running projects from $500K to $50M that require hundreds of onsite workers and reliable access to ERP and desktop applications. Their legacy infrastructure backed virtual desktops and SAGE 300 ERP but suffered frequent downtime and a failed Windows 10 migration, creating business risk and uncertainty about IT capacity to support new projects.

With help from systems integrator Qirx, PBS moved to a Nutanix Enterprise Cloud (Nutanix AOS with Prism and Pulse) hosted and managed by Qirx, supporting SAGE 300, Windows 10 and CAD workloads. The change eliminated server downtime, completed the Windows 10 upgrade, reduced IT utilization to ~60% (from ~90%), freed IT resources for strategic work, and materially lowered the execution risk on large construction projects while providing scalable capacity for growth.
