PATHS Supports Healthcare Employees During Pandemic with Nutanix Frame Remote Access

PATHS, a healthcare revenue cycle services company, needed to replace aging, unreliable infrastructure and quickly enable secure remote access for hundreds of employees and hospital-site users during the COVID-19 pandemic. The company also needed a platform that could better support HIPAA and HITRUST compliance while simplifying management and scaling for growth.

Nutanix implemented Nutanix Enterprise Cloud with Nutanix Frame DaaS, along with Prism and Flow, to deliver secure remote connectivity and centralized administration. The result was immediate support for about 200 people working from home and 70 users in hospitals, with no connection issues reported, less complexity than traditional VDI, and faster scaling—new nodes could be added in an hour or two—helping PATHS keep operations running and improve agility.
