Ozarks Technical Community College improves instruction and campus safety with Nutanix

Ozarks Technical Community College faced an aging three-tier infrastructure that was becoming costly, siloed, and hard to manage across its six locations and online education center. To support critical systems like ERP, SIS, and campus security, the college needed a more flexible platform that could scale easily and reduce administrative overhead, so it turned to Nutanix and Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure.

Nutanix implemented a hyperconverged environment with 33 nodes, along with AHV Virtualization and Prism Central, to unify management and simplify operations. The results included easier scaling, lower licensing costs, stronger campus safety support for more than 300 video surveillance cameras, and faster deployment of new services. Nutanix helped OTC streamline IT, improve visibility, and create a more agile platform for 1,700 employees and 11,000 active students.
