NTT PC Communications Launches Cloud-based 3D Design and Digital Twin Development Environment

NTT PC Communications launched a new cloud-based 3D design and digital twin development environment and needed a flexible infrastructure that could start small but scale as customer demand grew. The company chose Nutanix Cloud Platform to support the first VDI cloud in Japan for NVIDIA Omniverse Enterprise, giving it a foundation for delivering this new service.

With Nutanix, NTT PC Communications deployed the environment and is already seeing positive customer response, including requests for additional equipment. The Nutanix solution gives the company platform flexibility and a path to expand by adding nodes as needed, with future plans to grow the service further and explore Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) for hybrid cloud use cases.
