NJVC Achieves “Unattainable” VDI Goal with Nutanix

NJVC, a leading technology services provider to government and commercial customers, needed to migrate its corporate desktops to a virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and go live with the first phase in just 45 days — a target the team initially thought unattainable. NJVC deployed a single 2U Nutanix Complete Block (four-node, high‑performance compute and flash/SATA storage with 10GbE) running VMware ESXi, Nutanix Distributed File System and automated tiering. With Nutanix support they provisioned 85 VDI full clones in 25 minutes and had them all accepting domain connections within 45 minutes; a 70‑desktop boot storm reached login in 8 minutes and full connections in 14.
