The existing environment struggled with scalability, maintenance complexity and the need to reliably support mission-critical broadcast, production asset management and archiving systems to keep broadcasts running 24/7.

NDTV migrated to the Nutanix Cloud Platform with six hyperconverged nodes (three for broadcast, three for corporate) and AHV virtualization, adopting a hybrid model that keeps intensive editing on-premises and pushes content to AWS for distribution. The move delivered cloud portability, built-in failover for uninterrupted broadcasting, a 60% reduction in datacenter footprint by replacing 15 servers with six nodes, faster IT maintenance, lower licensing costs, and a foundation for future AI-driven workflows.
