Micro Logic Launches New Public Cloud Ofering on Nutanix

Micro Logic, a Canadian value-added reseller and private cloud provider, wanted to launch a new hybrid IaaS offering but could not predict initial demand and wanted to avoid a large upfront investment in traditional servers, SANs, and switches. They needed a flexible, easily managed infrastructure that would let them start small and scale incrementally as customer uptake grew.

They chose the Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Platform and deployed Nutanix nodes across three datacenters, allowing just-in-time scaling by adding nodes as needed. The result was faster performance for customers, simplified management with one‑click upgrades, no downtime over 18 months, lower launch costs compared with traditional vendors, and the ability for IT to focus on new services like backup/DR and future OpenStack plans.
