Metacom, a Cape Town–based managed service provider of SD‑WAN, POS, multimedia, Wi‑Fi, VoIP and retail analytics supporting 7,000+ retail outlets across 20+ countries, faced an ageing infrastructure at the end of its five‑year lifecycle. Rapid client onboarding threatened capacity limits and potential downtime, so the company needed a secure, hyper‑scalable platform that could grow with its business.

Metacom migrated 100+ systems in phases onto the Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Platform (AHV) using Nutanix Move and manages the environment with Prism Central/Elements and lifecycle management tools.
