A Nutanix Case Study
MaxMoney, the first local Malaysian company awarded a full MSB licence by Bank Negara, operates about 20 branches serving remittances and currency exchange—many in locations with only 1–2 Mbps internet. Its legacy servers produced slow response times (around 180 seconds), putting pressure on a small IT team and creating risks for always-on service, data privacy compliance and planned expansion.
In 2018 MaxMoney migrated to a Nutanix private cloud (one cluster, three nodes) running AOS, AHV and Prism to host 60+ VMs for production, databases and apps. The move cut response times from roughly 180 seconds to a few seconds (saving over two minutes), achieved 100% availability, enabled seamless live VM migration, simplified daily management and reduced IT overhead—improving customer service while meeting regulatory data requirements.
