Marist College Canberra needed to reduce the burden of routine IT management and improve reliability so its team could focus on strategic school projects. With Nutanix and the Nutanix Cloud Platform, the College also wanted better data protection, simpler budgeting, and a more sustainable IT setup while keeping key systems like SharePoint and the SIS running smoothly.

Nutanix implemented a platform that consolidated infrastructure, enabled rapid development and testing, and added a dedicated DR cluster with Advanced Replication for backup and recovery. The result was almost 86% IT infrastructure consolidation, from 42U of rack space to just six, along with significantly lower power consumption, less downtime, stronger data protection, and more time for the IT team to deliver new services.
