Case Study: Manutan achieves a secure, scalable private cloud and streamlined IT with Nutanix

A Nutanix Case Study

Preview of the Manutan Case Study

Manutan consolidates and streamlines its IT on Nutanix

Manutan, a family‑owned European B2B e‑commerce company with 2,200 employees across 17 countries, faced an increasingly heterogeneous and obsolete IT estate that culminated in a February 2021 ransomware attack that halted 1,200 servers. The company launched Project Horizon to rebuild a private, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure to replace the outdated environment.

Manutan deployed Nutanix technologies — including Flow for microsegmentation, Prism, Calm, AOS, Files, and Database Services — to consolidate storage, automate provisioning, protect and mask data, and simplify management. The result is a streamlined, more secure and scalable infrastructure, replacement of legacy NAS with Nutanix Files, faster migrations and optimizations, and a hybrid‑cloud‑ready platform that improves flexibility and security.
