Arapahoe Library District, a public library system serving eight branches in central Colorado, struggled with a fragmented, grown‑out IT environment made up of multiple standalone servers. This complexity made it difficult to consistently support core library applications, patron-facing services and multi-site management.

The district migrated to the Nutanix Cloud Platform (AOS) hyperconverged infrastructure, consolidating disparate hardware into a centrally managed, compact cluster. The move simplified administration, increased availability and agility—enabling fast VM provisioning, quicker updates, rapid recovery (restoring 38 of 40 VMs within two hours during a major outage)—and freed IT to pilot new services such as AI for staff and patrons.
