Karnataka Bank runs all critical applications on Nutanix with zero-disruption disaster recovery

Karnataka Bank, a financial services institution based in India, needed to quickly roll out and provide always-available, cloud-native applications for its digitally savvy customers. The bank chose to run all of its critical business applications on Nutanix's Cloud Platform (NCP) to meet this challenge and support Kubernetes.

Nutanix implemented its platform to host applications for mobile banking, fraud management, and a cloud-native digital currency application required by the Reserve Bank of India. This solution enables business resiliency by keeping applications running reliably without disruption, even during disasters, as NCP has been deployed in a second datacenter. Nutanix's support for Kubernetes and professional services enabled the bank to deploy applications quickly and easily to meet marketplace and regulatory demands.
