Janus International Group Upgrades to Nutanix

Janus International Group, a fast-growing manufacturing and distribution company, was struggling with aging HP servers, difficult-to-manage Microsoft Hyper-V infrastructure, and manual disaster recovery failover that put operations at risk. To refresh its IT environment, Janus turned to Nutanix and its Enterprise Cloud Platform, including Acropolis, Prism, and NearSync.

Nutanix implemented a scalable hyperconverged environment that consolidated Janus’s workloads, simplified management, and improved disaster recovery across sites. The results were significant: Janus cut new-node deployment time by at least 75%, enabled automatic failover and one-minute snapshots, reduced VMware licensing costs by moving to AHV, and supported rapid growth from 6 to 12 sites with only one additional IT staff member.
