International Speedway Corporation Shifts Up to Nutanix

International Speedway Corporation (ISC), a leading U.S. promoter of motorsports that operates 13 premier venues, faced an operationally complex, aging FlexPod infrastructure with NetApp storage and Cisco UCS servers. Fragmented file systems, time-consuming upgrades, and the need to consolidate storage, reduce licensing and on‑premise footprint, and improve reliability threatened fan-facing services and consumed IT resources.

ISC validated and deployed Nutanix Enterprise Cloud (NX-series with AHV, Prism, and Acropolis File Services) across corporate datacenters and 11 track sites, migrating roughly 150 TB of data and moving production and DR workloads onto the platform. The switch delivered a simplified, centralized management plane, consolidated unstructured data on AFS, and boosted performance—Oracle jobs ran 50–90% faster—while reducing operational effort, simplifying the stack, and delivering strong ROI.
