ICBC Argentina simplifies operations and improves availability of services with Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure

ICBC Argentina, the Argentine subsidiary of ICBC China, needed to modernize its increasingly complex IT environment to support 120 branches, 25 minibanks, two data centers, and its digital channels while improving agility, availability, and time to market. The bank was struggling with SAN maintenance, cabling, storage, and other infrastructure challenges, which became even more difficult during the COVID-19 pandemic. It turned to Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure to simplify deployment and operations.

Nutanix helped ICBC Argentina move toward a more cloud-native, private cloud-ready infrastructure with less complexity and faster implementation than its traditional three-tier setup. The new platform reduced dependence on critical external components and simplified maintenance, enabling quicker service delivery and stronger operational continuity. As a result, ICBC Argentina improved the availability of services and streamlined internal operations with Nutanix.
