How Nutanix Transformed Our School’s Infrastructure

St Peter’s Girls’ School, an independent school of about 800 students and 200 staff, faced recurring disruption from outdated, unreliable infrastructure and no safe window for firmware upgrades. The school set out to modernize its systems to achieve near-zero downtime and free IT staff from time-consuming maintenance.

Working with Nutanix and partner Subnet, the school migrated to a Nutanix platform using Prism for automated health checks, simplified upgrades, and reduced administrative overhead. The move completed smoothly, giving IT more time for in-class support and accessibility improvements, lowering virtualization licensing costs by moving toward Nutanix AHV, and enabling staff to focus on new technologies and student outcomes.
