How Autodesk Gained Early Customer Insight with Nutanix Frame

Autodesk, maker of industry-leading 2D/3D design and engineering software like AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit, needed a fast, low-friction way to gather early feedback from its large, global user community on pre-release builds. The challenge was to give thousands of testers instant, high-performance access to complex desktop applications without requiring installs or local configuration.

Autodesk used Nutanix Xi Frame to deliver apps in the browser from regional public-cloud datacenters, integrating Xi Frame’s APIs and SAML authentication with its Centercode beta platform. The result was higher participation, broader reach, faster and more frequent testing cycles, and improved product quality and stability—making cloud-delivered previews the preferred way for users to try pre-release software.
