Highland Bank Empowers Financial Services Professionals with End User Computing

Highland Bank, a Minnesota-based business-focused bank, needed to refresh aging network infrastructure that was running out of resources and limiting flexibility. As it planned to modernize its environment, Highland Bank chose Nutanix and Nutanix Cloud Platform with AHV to support Citrix VDI and other banking applications while improving performance, scalability, and remote access.

Nutanix implemented a hyperconverged infrastructure on HPE ProLiant servers, consolidating systems and enabling centralized management from one console. The result was seamless remote work support during the COVID-19 pandemic, with more than half of employees able to work from home without disruption, faster and more responsive infrastructure, improved backup/DR, and easier management for a small IT team with fewer hardware resources.
