Hengtong Group Improves IT Governance and Business Agility with Nutanix

Hengtong Group, a major global manufacturer, needed to improve IT governance, reliability, and support for branch and subsidiary sites where critical MES, SAP, and desktop virtualization workloads ran. Its existing storage-based virtualization setup was hard to manage, slow to deploy, and vulnerable to unexpected outages, creating challenges for business continuity and remote IT operations.

Nutanix implemented a hyperconverged infrastructure using Nutanix Enterprise Cloud OS, AHV, and Prism. The result was faster deployment of new systems in days instead of weeks, more than 80% less deployment time, automatic recovery from outages in as little as 10 minutes, and easier centralized management across locations. At headquarters, Nutanix also cut rack space by more than 50% and power consumption by more than 40%, while reducing desktop issue resolution time by more than 90%.
