Groupe Média TFO Keeps Multimedia Production Running Nonstop with Nutanix

Groupe Média TFO, a public French-language media organization serving students and teachers across Ontario, needed to replace aging storage and compute infrastructure that was causing inconsistent performance and increasing complexity for its multimedia production operations. With Nutanix Enterprise Cloud and Nutanix Prism, the team looked for a more stable hyperconverged infrastructure to support memory- and CPU-intensive applications across its TV, web, mobile, and social platforms.

Nutanix helped Groupe Média TFO migrate key workloads, including its Louise Media Management System, Microsoft SQL, Oracle databases, Active Directory, and custom multimedia applications, into a unified environment. The result was simpler management, a much smaller footprint—cut from three racks to one—and more consistent application performance, with controller latency reported at 1.96 ms and no complaints about sluggish apps.
